Hello, I am Mrs. Murley. I graduated from William Paterson University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching from St. Peter's University. I am currently enrolled at St. Peter's University in obtaining a second Master's Degree in Administration. I have been teaching fourth grade for nine years. My philosophy of education is very simple. Every child can be taught to learn and achieve a level of success. Furthering my education with new ideas and tools that will help me enhance my students' successful learning is my priority and goal. As an educator, I am striving to assist students and parents to make their educational quest an enjoyable one with determination and motivation. I want to instill in them the idea to never stop learning.
The fourth grade class is dedicated to attaining a level of success with the knowledge and skills taught during this year. We will read several chapter books to gain a better understanding of the world around us. We will focus on fourth grade math skills to help us become math experts. We will explore the country in our social studies class. We will become scientists doing different types of experiments. Our bodies and minds will be strengthen in health and gym class. Our technological knowledge and skills will be enhance during computers. We will broaden our creative horizons in art and music class. As you can tell, fourth grade is filled with a variety of learning and teaching experiences. So, explore our fourth grade class and get a glimpse of our educational trip.
